With a passion for adventure and my eyes to the sky, I enrolled at the ATP Flight Academy and was on the fast track to my first pilot's license certification. Five months later after successfully finishing the Cessna 172 program, although exciting and freeing, I knew my true calling was to be in a more creative atmosphere.
Being hired by The Richards Group was truly an honor. With no college degree and a passion for everything TRG stands for and creates, I was hired as an Admin of Operations into Latitude - one of TRG's subsidiaries. Working under Stuart Hyashi, Paul Vonheeder and Camile Carroll, I absorbed every bit of knowledge I could as I was allowed to do basic design work, helping the creatives on accounts such as Red Lobster, Churchill Downs and Central Market. After three years, the company began a large layoff and my time was unfortunately cut short. However, not knowing at the time that this was only the begging of my creative story.
With a drive like never before to earn my degree, I enrolled into the dual Graphic and Web Design Bachelor degree at The Art Institute of Dallas, focusing my attention on Web Development. My sights on returning to a creative environment had never been brighter.
While attending The Art Institute, real world experience was vital to my success. Hired by Jericho Information Technology, a business analytics software company, I am now Director of Application Development. My day consists of being project manager to two of our largest clients and complete control of the UI/UX design of the Jericho application. I work closely with our development team in India on a daily basis as well to ensure proper timeline management as well as functionality clarity on how the application should run. I am also in charge of all marketing materials including html emails, all flyers and handouts, trade show booth panels and have also rebranded the company's logo and fully redesigned and coded the website on a Twitter Bootstrap framework.

I enjoy being outdoors with my GoPro and Hover Camera, taking action photos. I am also an amateur IPA beer brewer, furniture builder and large scale 3D oil painter. I always seem to be working on one project or another. My goal in life is to make connections professionally via great design and personally with honest and fun-hearted human-to-human interaction.
